Great selection of frozen yogurt, with excellent choice of toppings. Not far out of downtown on water street. Definitely check this place out.

Easy sweet spot, lots of toppings and really sweet staff. James helped us today and he was so friendly and hopeful when my 5y got ice cream everywhere.

My family frequents Top A Lot Yogurt, especially on Tuesdays and Fridays when they have $5 fill ups. The yogurt is tasty, the selection of flavors is smaller than other places but always very good, the space is always very clean, and the staff are inviting and helpful. We used to go to other places, but the quality, service, and value of Top A Lot has turned us into a one-yogurt-shop family.

This place is so nostalgic. Self serve froyo with tons of toppings to choose from! $5 froyo on Tuesdays and Fridays and they're open until 10pm. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The teens working there are very chill and friendly. One even offered to move stuff near their cute neon sign for my photo. A great stop on the way in or out of Santa Cruz!

My hubby and I decided to stop into this self-serve froyo shop to bring back some dessert to enjoy in our hotel room. Dessert and a movie anyone? I pulled down the lever and filled my bowl with Chocolate Vanilla Swirl and then topped it off with Reese's Pieces, Oreo Crumble, Brownie Bites, Shredded Coconut and Chopped Almonds. The toppings were of course amazing, but the froyo itself wasn't my favorite. That being said, I'm glad I tried my hubby's, cuz his Non-Dairy Mango Sunrise was the best froyo I ever had!! Mm now I know what to order next time!! I would recommend this award winning small/family-owned business that has been in business for 14 years! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the best day to come is on Tuesdays and Fridays, you can fill up your bowl for just $5! Their is a $1 card processing fee for cards, so make sure to bring cash! They're open late, until 10 and the staff member helping us was very personable and sweet! We're looking forward to returning our next trip to Santa Cruz to try more of their rotating flavors! SYOY! :-)

Sooo happy top a lot has new ownership. I've loved this place and its cute mom and pop vibe since I was in high school, but stopped going when it was purchased by a couple of jerks. Well, it changed hands again, and the new owners are totally killing it! They've redone the interior. It's still adorable but much more current. The layout makes a bit more sense and the decor is cute and more modern. The overall gist is the same - three machines of 1-2 yogurts each. Fill up then enter and throw on a few options from their wall of abundant topping choices. We came by for fill it up Friday and are planning to be regulars (they also have this on Tuesdays). You get a fixed size cup and can fill it as much as you want for $5. A great bargain and the cup was larger than we expected! So happy top a lot is back and even better!
